If you are approved for adoption, we are now doing curbside adoptions in order to minimize contact.

Meet Mama Snickers! She’s Safe House’s Pet of the Month! Mama Snickers is such a sweet girl! She came to Safe House not quite sure what to think of having an instant family of cats to hang out with, but has really adjusted well. She enjoys having other cats around, but would be perfectly happy being the only pet in the house. Her favorite thing is just to spend her day lounging on the back of the sofa and enjoying the sunshine. Don’t think that she wouldn’t be appreciative of you though! Go over to Mama Snickers and pick her up for cuddle time and she’s a purring machine! She’s really there for your enjoyment and doesn’t ask for much other than making sure she’s not hungry (a little bit late with food and she’ll be there to meow a gentle reminder – but we all need that sometimes!). This chocolate and orange beauty is our featured pet of the month and comes with a discounted adoption price in March (only $25). Mama Snickers and all Safe House kittens/cats are tested for FeLV/FIV, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, treated for worms/fleas, and microchipped. Sponsor Mama Kitty’s Care!! Care for a pet like Mama Kitty costs us, on average, $150 to spay/neuter, feed, house, and treat for medical conditions. Please help us defray these costs so we can save more pets! There is no minimum required to sponsor one of the cats in our program, but sponsorships of $50 or more will also receive a photo of the sponsored pet and all sponsorships will receive a letter. All of our cats have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, microchipped, and tested for FIV/FeLV. Our adoption fee structure is as follows:

 

• $75 - Kittens/Young (Up to 1 year)
• $50 - Adult (1 Year +)
• $25 - Senior (7 Years +)
• $0 - FIV +
• There is an additional $25 fee for cats considered to be an "Exotic" (Siamese, Persian, etc...)
• If you are a senior (65 years or older) you can adopt any of our senior cats (7 years or older) for only $10! Please mention this special when applying.
• We also have a kitten special - adopt 2 available kittens (1 year & under) for $125

While we try to keep our animal listings up-to-date online, sometimes the age range may be labelled incorrectly. Please don't hesitate to contact us for the most up-to-date information on a particular cat.  Our cats are shown by appointment - we are a foster based rescue and so we don't have a location with set hours.
