Calamari is about 5 months old as of October, 2023.   Calamari needed help and we were happy we had a space to provide it. Her mama must have contracted feline panleukopenia while pregnant causing some neurological issues for her babies. Calamari has mild cellebellar hyperplasia which you only notice by a little ackward gate and some head bobbing while eating. She has no restrictions, she jumps, runs and is an energetic kitten. She's super sweet and snuggly and her condition just makes her even cuter than she already is! She will fit into any home. Adopt her today!

Good with Cats

All of our cats have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, microchipped, and tested for FIV/FeLV. Our adoption fee structure is as follows:

  • There is an additional $25 fee for cats considered to be an "Exotic" (Siamese, Persian, etc...)

  • We also have a kitten special - adopt 2 available kittens (1 year & under) for $125

While we try to keep our animal listings up-to-date online, sometimes the age range may be labelled incorrectly. Please don't hesitate to contact us for the most up-to-date information on a particular cat.  Our cats are shown by appointment - we are a foster based rescue and so we don't have a location with set hours.

If you are interested in adopting or would like to meet our cats, please fill out our adoption application online at www.safehousepets.org/info/adoption and a volunteer will contact you promptly.
